Britton & Blake {St. Luke’s Chapel Wedding}

Britton and Blake were married downtown Charleston at St. Luke’s Chapel and we couldn’t wait to share the highlights of their special day! Caroline and Lucy captured so many beautiful moments throughout! Britton chose an elegant mix of white, gold, ivory, and champagne for her floral and decor colors. We loved the classy decor and arrangements furnished by the very talented Jacqueline of Sweetgrass Social (who by the way was one of Britton’s bridesmaids!). Family and guests enjoyed a stylish reception catered by Good Food Catering at the historic Rice Mill.

Thanks Britton and Blake for letting us share in your wonderful day! It was absolutely stunning!

What a fun wedding! And such beautiful pictures. :-)

Carmen & Tommy {Palmer House Wedding – Charleston, SC}

Carmen and Tommy were married on April 26th in historic Charleston on the harbor at the scenic Palmer House.  We can’t be more excited to show off this beautiful couple!  Carmen, who owns an event planning company, All the Trim Events in Charlotte NC, used her expertise to orchestrate a very intimate ceremony and dinner for family and friends.  Carmen chose to wear her mother’s wedding dress – a beautiful gown with lace detail!  Whitney at Branch Design Studio did it again with her incredible arrangements of flowers.  The overall look of the day was truly one of southern elegance.  Tommy, Carmen and family celebrated afterwards at High Cotton restaurant (a personal favorite of ours!).

Britton’s Bridal Portraits {Boone Hall Plantation}

We wanted all of our brides to see Caroline‘s most recent bridal portrait session with Britton at the Boone Hall Plantation. Britton was such a good sport; the combination of bugs and rain weren’t the most ideal conditions, but with help from her bridesmaid/wedding planner Jacqueline from Sweetgrass Social, the shoot turned out soft and romantic. Our favorite photos have to be the images of Britton in the cotton field!

Caroline & Lucy photographed Britton & Blake’s wedding at the end of April. Highlights will be up soon!

Tara & Bryan {Charleston SC Wedding}

In today’s busy lifestyle, it’s nice to not have to plan a huge wedding for months and months. You can have a beautiful, intimate ceremony without all the trouble, just like Tara & Bryan did this past month at the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation. Shannon captured the romance of this elegant couple in these soft and classic photos. Even the early morning rain adds to the lush green look of the southern plantation. After a ceremony on the dock, the couple went back to friends and family at the Isle of Palms to celebrate their new marriage. Congratulations Tara & Bryan!
