Preferred Vendor BadgeLindsay and Brent’s rustic vintage wedding was featured recently on The Lovely Find! How beautiful are the lavender details? The vintage china? It’s like something out of a Nicholas Sparks novel. Actually that was Linsday’s inspiration for her wedding-day theme! Lindsay said she fell in love with the Charleston plantations and knew she had to have a Southern Vintage wedding. And what better setting than Magnolia Plantation & Gardens for their dream wedding?

Take a peek at this classic Charleston wedding on the blog today! We are just loving the beautiful centerpieces with soft peach flowers and gold accents. Erin and Ryan were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Downtown Charleston. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour at nearby McCrady’s restaurant while the bridal party took a quick detour for some gorgeous portraits in Waterfront Park. Everyone enjoyed delicious food, drinks and dancing with a sparkly sendoff for the happy bride and groom! A big thanks to Southern Chic Weddings for designing and coordinating such a lovely day! Congratulations to the happy couple and we hope everyone enjoys the photos!

Anjuli and Charles traveled from Tampa to celebrate their wedding at Kiawah Island’s elegant River Course Club. Shannon had the pleasure of photographing an engagement session for these two back in April and we are happy to see them here in the Lowcountry again. In their daily lives Anjuli is a reporter for the Tampa Fox affiliate WTVT (perhaps you recognize her!), Charles works at a private equity fund and they both enjoy spending time with their Yellow Lab, Boone, who we wish could have attended the wedding! Their beautiful ceremony was held overlooking the golf course – it was a hot day but the couple smartly had their programs double as fans! You may also notice that Anjuli and Charles have a pretty big wedding party and it is clear that these two will always be surrounded by close friends. And fun friends at that; take a look at the exciting gift Charles was given by his groomsmen!

Anjuli and Charles enjoyed a long reception in the club house including entertainment by the amazing Party on the Moon. It was a total blast!

Looks like summer isn’t over yet! Charity & Rick were married on the beach at Isle of Palms under the blazing South Carolina sun. After the ceremony the newlyweds and guests were able to cool off at their beach house reception site. The bride chose ivory and pastel details that were the perfect compliment to the warm tones of the coastal summertime landscape. After dinner, drinks, and dancing with family and friends, Charity & Rick returned to the water with their photographer Brooke to take a few more gorgeous portraits together as the sun began to set. What an incredible way to end a beautiful day!

Congratulations Charity & Rick! Thank you for sharing your special day with us.

Megan and Zach’s Charleston wedding truly became a fairytale fortune. This fun-loving couple chose Charleston for their wedding because of their love for architecture, the history, the food, and the people. Can’t say we blame them! On the wedding day, they really got a tour of Charleston’s best: Getting ready at John Rutledge House Inn, photos at Hampton Park, ceremony at Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, and reception following at The Wickliffe House. Their dreamy day was absolutely beautiful.
