Check out this fun family photo session on Kiawah Island! We just love all the sweet smiles and summer time fun from this awesome family!
Erin and Kyle celebrated their wedding at the Historic Rice Mill in Downtown Charleston. These two had amazing DIY style and decorations; from the fabric streamers above the ceremony, to the folding fans and sunglasses given out to guests, this was a truly unique wedding. Erin’s romantic BHLDN dress looked great among all the colorful and crafty decor, and her dried flower bouquet was so soft and pretty. The Rice Mill sits on the water and Sara did a wonderful job incorporating the dynamic backdrop of the marina into the formal portraits.
It was so much fun being part of this creative wedding!
We have a lovely Boone Hall Plantation wedding to share with you today! Nicole and Darrel met in class and were dating by the end of their course. “We’re having an outdoor wedding that we want to feel mostly casual and fun,” they told us before their big day. We agree that their wedding was just that. These two are so cheerful and laid back- even a few summer showers didn’t dampen their wedding celebration! Nicole & Darrel exchanged vows under the cover of their reception tent, which sheltered them from the storm and provided a seamless transition into the reception party. The rest of their night was spent enjoying southern BBQ, drinks, and dancing with their friends and family.
Congratulations Nicole & Darrel! Thank you Shannon for capturing their special day- rain or shine!
Marissa and Kyle chose to be married at one of the most beautiful locations in Charleston, Middleton Place. Marissa’s elegant blush gown perfectly matched the formal French gardens where they held their ceremony and cocktail hour. The forecast threatened rain all day but there was nothing but big blue skies under mossy oaks for these two! Southern Protocol did a stunning job decorating the Pavillion with luscious pinks and gold for the formal dinner and reception. And we can’t forget to mention how much fun Marissa and her bridesmaids had getting ready with their jumbo bags of Cheetos!!
We wish the very best for you Marissa and Kyle!
Take a look at this cool coastal wedding held at The Island House on John’s Island! Kim and Mac were married outside on the back lawn overlooking the beautiful views of the Stono River. Kim chose a delicate palette of blues and crisp whites to mirror the natural colors of the property. Guests enjoyed dinner during sunset and dancing the night away to the sounds of The Momentum Party Band. We just love the interesting perspectives of the venue and the vibrant dancing shots! Thanks to Sara for capturing such a lovely day and congratulations to the Newlyweds!
