Sherri & Jack {Wickliffe House Wedding}

Sherri & Jack are an adorable couple from Northern Virginia that both work in the medical field. Once the wedding planning started, they decided to look south to Charleston. Jack said “We want a small intimate, romantic, yet simple wedding for family and close friends in the setting of the Southern Charm of Charleston”. They chose the Wickliffe House as their venue because of the architectural details and historic feel of the area. Sherri designed all of the decor herself. Her color choices of pinks and grays invoke a soft and romantic mood for the occasion.

Caroline had the pleasure of capturing their day in photographs. We loved working with this beautiful couple and wish them all the best!

Liz & Andrew {The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Wedding}

To start the summer wedding season off right, we have a stunning outdoor wedding to share from the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island! Elizabeth & Andrew met while attending both of their father’s alma mater – Villanova University. They were set up on a blind date and have been together ever since. Elizabeth is from Georgia, and Andrew from New Jersey, so they wanted to incorporate a “Northern boy meets Southern girl” theme for their big day. Melissa at A Charleston Bride helped them design a beautiful reception at the Ocean Course Lawn, filled with gorgeous flowers, crystal chandeliers, colorful draperies, and delicious seafood! The summertime colors of light turquoise and cream, with pink and green accents perfectly accompanied the ocean environment. After an evening of excitement and dancing to the local sounds of Plane Jane, Liz and Andrew made their getaway with a finale of rose petals.

Thank you Jennings for these amazing pictures. We love this wedding! Congratulations Elizabeth & Andrew.

Candace & Joe {Surfside Beach Wedding}

Candace and Joe are truly “high-school sweethearts”. They met in high school biology class sophomore year and have been together ever since. Priscilla recently shot their beach-side wedding at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront in Surfside Beach, SC. They included fun coastal accents like seashells, a sand ceremony and a starfish wedding cake.  It was a fabulous day for the couple filled with family and close friends. Congratulations Candace and Joe, thanks for including Riverland Studios on your big day!

Stephanie & Wes {Greenville, SC Wedding}

Stephanie and Wes were married earlier this month in a beautiful Garden ceremony at the Kilgore-Lewis House in Greenville, SC. Their reception was held at Wyche Pavilion at the Peace Center.  This vintage-romantic themed wedding was coordinated by the fabulous Katie Crain. We loved the lace tablecloths, chandeliers, and their colors of ivory, coral and blush. Marylou was their photographer and has done a wonderful job telling their story throughout their engagement session to their wedding day. Congrats Stephanie and Wes!

Lauren & Scott {Folly Beach Wedding}

Lauren and Scott met through a mutual friend while attending Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Jeanne had the pleasure of photographing their lovely wedding earlier this month at the Flip Floppin’ Folly House on Folly Beach. Lauren incorporated a lot of great beach-themed details into her wedding day. We especially love that she used a sea shell for her ring-bearer to carry and message-in-a-bottle table numbers. Its always fun to see traditions done with a little bit of a twist. Congratulations Lauren and Scott!
