Check out this incredibly adorable surprise engagement session that Cana photographed at White Point Gardens! Dana planned a Charleston getaway and a couple’s photo session for her and then-boyfriend Drew as a little sendoff before his military deployment. It was her intention to surprise him with some great photos of them together before he left. Little did she (OR WE!) know that he would be getting down on one knee for the surprise of a lifetime. This was such an amazing day to be a part of and even Cana was in tears! Enjoy the photos and congratulations to Dana and Drew!
Take a peek at this sweet downtown Charleston garden wedding! Amber and Jon were married in Washington Square Park on Broad Street in an intimate ceremony before their immediate families. When asked what she was most excited about Amber told us, “I’m most excited about marrying my best friend, beginning my life as Mrs. McCann and no pressure, but I’m really excited about the pictures!” We couldn’t be happier to work with such a sweet couple and are sure that Cana’s talented eye will not disappoint!
Take a peek at this sweet engagement session! Anjuli & Charles traveled to Kiawah Island to take couple’s portraits before their wedding day. The two met while attending the University of Florida almost six years ago. Anjuli asked Charles on their first date! She told us, “Zero expectations that we’d ever actually date, let alone get married!! We had the best time together and I knew by the end of the day that he was something very special.” Anjuli & Charles are still living in Florida, but they will be making their way back to Kiawah for their wedding at The River Course at Kiawah Island Club in August. We’re so excited to have Shannon there to capture their special day!
Daisy & James are athletic trainers who were visiting Charleston to participate in the Cooper River Bridge Run. After a weekend full of physical fitness, the two wanted to take a moment to celebrate their recent engagement with a portrait session. Daisy wanted simple, fun portraits that incorporated the charm of our historic city. She told us, “We have been to Charleston several times. We love the architecture, history, and food better than any other place we’ve traveled.” White Point Garden and the surrounding cobblestone streets were the perfect backdrops for photos that captured both Daisy & James’s sweet personalities and Charleston’s beautiful scenery.
Congratulations Daisy & James!
Check out Kristin & Matt’s sweet waterfront engagement session! These two took portraits with Priscilla at their home on James Island. The backyard and dock surrounding the house provided the perfect setting for gorgeous and natural looking photos. Kristin & Matt love being out on the water, so it was only appropriate that they ended their session by hopping on their boat for some beautiful sunset shots!
Congratulations on your engagement Kristin & Matt! We are so excited to be a part of your October 2014 wedding!
