As ceremonies and receptions take place on the gorgeous grounds, the house is open for the wedding parties to prepare for the event. The wealth of The Island House lies outside, however, boasting 180 degree waterfront views of the Stono River, private docks for use and a manicured lawn perfect for your dream outdoor wedding. WHY WE LOVE PHOTOGRAPHING AT THE ISLAND HOUSE

Our photographers are in love with The Island House and anxiously await the opportunity to photograph there. Inside the house is eclectic and creative interiors making for one-of-a-kind backdrops. The spacious changing rooms for the bridal and groom’s parties allow for personal portraits and capturing those fun moments with the girls… or guys. Outside, the waterfront views are breathtaking and provide a stunning setting to bridal portraits, moments from the ceremony, even little cousins running along the water’s edge. The private docks provide a wealth of opportunity by allowing for intimate portraits with a landscape view with the couple in the center, staring off together into the setting sun. Before we let the couple make their escape, we have to take them to some of the secluded flower fields which can burst with color during the right times of year. The natural beauty is unparalleled and we look forward to sharing that beauty with you.
