Melissa & Adam {Citadel Beach House Wedding}

There are so many wonderful things that I could say about Melissa and Adam’s wedding day.  Melissa, a busy Graduate student, and Adam, a Captain in the Air Force first met while attending the same church group in Abilene, Texas.  They knew from the beginning a long distance relationship would be a challenge, but if anyone could make it work, it was these two.  Melissa has the absolute biggest heart, and it is clear to all that Adam could not adore her more.  Even though I had just met Melissa and Adam for the first time on their wedding day, I could not have felt more welcomed by them and their sweet family. The wedding ceremony was particularly sentimental because it was held at the Sullivan’s Island Baptist Church where both her parents, as well as her grandparents wed years ago.  So sweet!  The ceremony was beautifully emotional, and the outpour of love and support from friends and family was overwhelming.  The weather was perfect, and Melissa looked absolutely gorgeous in her Galina Signature gown.  I could not get enough of the colorful wildflower bouquets that her and her bridesmaids carried, done wonderfully by Nancy of Belva’s Flower Shop– stunning!  The celebration carried on to The Citadel Beach House, where guests enjoyed tasty southern shrimp and grits provided by Iron Gate Events as we snuck away to enjoy the lovely sunset and bask in the beauty of the day.  Melissa and Adam, thank you so much for having me along for this truly special celebration.  I wish nothing but happiness in your new life together!
