Yamilca & Rolf {Folly Beach Wedding}

Yamilca and Rolf had the sweetest wedding last weekend that we are so excited to share with you. This fun-loving couple came all the way from Louisville, Kentucky to celebrate their union in an intimate ceremony on beautiful Folly Beach. Folly Beach has so many great houses for small wedding ceremonies and receptions like this one. We love the casual feel, and who doesn’t want to spend their wedding day at the beach?! It’s also a great option if you’re not planning a tropical getaway for your honeymoon because you’re already there. Guests stood for the casual ceremony, officiated by a friend, and Yamilca wore a charming short, super ruffly gown! For beach weddings, we always love to see fun, more casual gowns like hers. Her bouquet also matched the setting so well – yellows, whites and greens with an accent pink rose looked perfect on the beach. After their ceremony, the party moved upstairs to a big beach house they rented. We loved all of the quirky house decor which made a great backdrop for this fun event! One special and impressive reception detail was their catering, which was done entirely by a close friend. They had quite the spread and we especially loved all of the special drink dispensers! Brittany had a great time creating super romantic photos of these two on the beach at sunset. What a cute couple. After cake cutting, toasts and dinner, Yamilca and Rolf enjoyed dancing on deck under a big bright moon. We hope to see these two in Charleston again soon and wish them a marriage full of as much happiness and love as we saw between them on their wedding day. Congratulations Yamilca and Rolf!
