Noni headed down to Charleston Harbor for a delightful Carolina Girl wedding and we’re excited to be able to share some of her photos with you! The Carolina Girl is a yacht that provides a very unique wedding experience to boating enthusiasts or anyone looking for a delightful wedding experience on the water. Margaret’s strapless A-line gown was perfect for the breezy on-the-water wedding and complimented beautifully by pearls and a warm fall bouquet featuring Calla lilies. We love her Clemson-inspired shoes, even moreso because she’s a die-hard South Carolina fan herself.
The ceremony took place on the main deck of the yacht and was a beautiful, intimate affair. With each of their children by their side, Margaret and Frederick exchanged vows in front of a small group of family and friends. As the sun was beginning to set on the day, Noni captured some beautiful newlywed photos and we adore the ones featuring the brand new family. There’s so much fun and excitement with them and they make each picture fun and memorable.
The reception, featuring delicious culinary creations by Crave Catering and a fun Clemson and Carolina wedding cake by Honey’s Baking. The rich fall colors featured in Margaret’s bouquet set the tone for the décor, with cranberry and burnt oranges and yellows. The wicker basket centerpieces and repurposed bottle vases were fun decorations that really fit the mood of the day. After sunset, the deck was transformed by electric blue rope lighting and the guests danced the night away along many of Charleston’s waterways. The celebratory energy from the couple and their guests made for festive memories and we’re so happy to have been able to capture the beautiful images we did.
Margaret and Frederick, congratulations again on your wedding and we here at Riverland Studios wish you nothing but the best in the years to come!
