Megan & Chris {The Palmetto Club Wedding}

Megan and Chris said their “I Do’s” earlier this spring at Shandon United Methodist Church, with a reception that followed at The Palmetto Club in Columbia, SC. Shandon was built in 1909 and is full of rich history and beautiful architecture. Megan shared with us that the church is very special to her since it’s the church she grew up attending with her family.  After the ceremony they headed over to a beautiful spot near the statehouse in downtown Columbia to take their portraits. The sun was golden and flowers were in full bloom, which made for some gorgeous scenery for their portraits.  We love that they planned for a little extra time to make a stop at a scenic location to get a few more photos. It’s worth the 15 additional minutes you might need to have stunning wedding portraits that will last a lifetime. We are swooning over the gorgeous florals done by Meagan at Fern Studio! The oversized yellow peonies were such a unique addition to the spring wedding bouquets. The centerpieces at their reception at The Palmetto Club were a light spring mix of all white flowers. Jessica Rourke Weddings worked as their wedding coordinator and did an incredible job!
