Liz & Frank {Downtown Charleston Proposal}

We are sharing the sweetest Downtown Charleston proposal story today!  When Frank first reached out telling us that he was planning a trip to Charleston where he would propose to the love of his life, we couldn’t wait to be a part of it.  Frank and Liz both grew up in New York,  he in Long Island, and her in Buffalo.  Frank has been calling Greenville, SC his home for the past 2 years while attending medical school, but it was not until about 9 months ago that Liz and he crossed paths.  Liz, a Nurse Practitioner at a competing hospital, took the job opportunity not knowing anything about the area, far from friends and family.  A mutual friend of theirs contacted Frank one day asking him to show her around downtown as she was new to the area, not knowing they were being set up on a blind date.  “Turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me,” Frank said while sharing the story with us.

The happy couple had planned a trip to Charleston with Liz’s family, and Frank knew that this would be the perfect opportunity to ask the woman of his dreams to be his wife.  After all plans were set into motion, Frank told Liz that they were to enjoy a private evening of wine tastings, a stroll around the beautiful historic city, and a romantic dinner.  Little did she know, that was not all Frank had planned for them!  While taking a casual walk along the water of Charleston’s Battery, Frank got down on one knee in a clearing beneath the oaks and caught Liz completely off guard with her grandmother’s ring.  Of course, she said yes!  After the shock began to disappear, I was lucky enough to wander the city with them, taking a few photos of the newly engaged couple!  Thank you so much for having me capture such a romantic moment of your lives, and I wish you the happiest wedding day and future together!
