SARAH & JUSTIN {WILD DUNES WEDDING}

When planning a destination wedding to Charleston, South Carolina it is easy to become overwhelmed with the many breathtaking venue options that it offers.  As photographers, we love that about this city.  Not only are we lucky enough to have the opportunity to photograph gorgeous weddings at numerous historic Downtown venues and plantations, but every now and then we also get the chance to spend the day at the beach! Wild Dunes is one of our favorites venues to photograph a beach wedding.  It allows guests to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy a calming view of the ocean, while at the same time incorporates a taste of Charleston charm!  Rows of colorful vacation homes lined the boardwalk leading to the Grand Pavilion where Sarah and Justin wed in front of a gathering of their closest family and friends.  The ceremony was personal and emotional, set to the beautiful violin performance by Classical Charleston.  Sarah’s bridesmaids wore long strapless chiffon dresses with a pleated bodice, each girl in a different pastel, and we absolutely love how it all came together! After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and tasty appetizers with a beautiful view of the Atlantic from the Pavilion, and the musical talents of Split Second Sound kept the party going through the night.  Rainstorms came and went throughout the day, but certainly did not put a damper on the celebration.  Sarah and Justin- thanks so much for having us along to capture it all, we were so happy to share your special day with you!
