Some of you have seen these pie charts before, but I felt like it was time to introduce them to those who haven’t. Many people think being a wedding photographer is a one-day-a-week job. I had no idea, myself, until I saw how much time and effort Juliet put into running her photography business (https://www.julietelizabeth.com). You truly are your own IT department, HR department, customer relations, marketing, design and editing, etc etc.
I came to know the reality when we created Riverland Studios. It’s no joke. If you want to be good, it takes relentless effort, drive and determination. There are too many nights up ’til midnight editing wedding photos. Juliet and I even spent our last wedding anniversary editing (That did NOT go over well! she still hasn’t quite forgiven me for that one). Anyway, I think the charts are fairly accurate representations of both perception and reality.
