The McIntyres { Kiawah Island Family }

Situated an hour south of Charleston, Kiawah Island has the beautiful beaches and southern charm wrapped in a resort atmosphere.  Kiawah Island family portraits capture the essence of the island without losing what makes Charleston such an amazing place.  We all know how difficult it is to get everyone in one place, so when families do come together, portraits are the perfect way to reconnect and make new memories.  For the McIentyres, this meant a fun-filled event with 3 generations and 7 grandchildren.

The day began with all of the kids playing in the sand.  The girls were so adorable in their sundresses of pink, white, and baby blue while the boys were quite handsome in their button-ups and khakis.  We look forward to spending time with a group of kids because their energy is infectious and, though it’s difficult at times to get a really good portrait, the memories they’re making are priceless.  The two boys were hilarious making funny faces – natural comedians!  And what about that tiniest little one?  SHE IS SO CUTE!

It’s always fun when families coordinate their outfits and the blues, pinks, and whites were the perfect selections for the late afternoon portraits.  Whether it be khakis and a button-up, a sundress, capris or just a pair of comfortable jeans, everyone looked awesome.  We adore the moments where the grandparents were surrounded by their grandchildren.  It’s impossible to imagine anyone happier at that moment than those two.

After capturing portraits of all of the families, it was time to let the little ones loose on the water and away they went!  Some stayed just out of the reach of the waves while others splashed through without a care in the world.  You could hear their laughter over the waves.  We can think of no better end to such a lovely day!

Thank you for allowing us to spend time with you during your vacation.  We had such a great time getting to know all of you!
