Kirsten & Hunter { Gadsden House Wedding }

We love Charleston’s historic houses.  With their gorgeous architecture and southern charm, they make beautiful backdrops for our couples.  A Gadsden House wedding features a bright interior and a beautiful courtyard for those intimate ceremonies you’ll want to look back on again and again.  One of our favorites was Kirsten and Hunter’s wedding where we fell in love with the bride-to-be right away.  Her linen gown was perfect and matched beautifully by a silver and pearl accents and sparkly gold and silver Badgley Mischka bridal shoes.  She had all of the elegance of a Hollywood starlet looking out onto the grounds from one of the house’s huge windows.  Down below, the crowd was gathering.  It was almost time!

Hunter waited patiently beneath the arbor of bamboo and white linen, looking handsome in his suit and slate grey bow tie.  Rows of brown wooden chairs led to a few benches brought in for the crowd.  The space was simply stunning.  Kirsten and Hunter looked lovely together as they held hands and vowed to love one another for the rest of their days.  After a sweet kiss, it was all over – they were newlyweds!

The duo followed Priscilla to a few neighboring streets for their newlywed portraits.  We love, love, love how amazing Kirsten looked.  Together they were amazing, laughing at everything and up for anything.  They even danced a little bit at one point, with some moves that would have made the Rat Pack proud.  Through all of it, they smiled and held onto one another completely in love.  It was perfect.

Cafe lights, candles, delicacies, and speeches created such a memorable reception.  Each haven of soft glow found a few guests talking and catching up.  Laughter filled the air and mixed with the lively music.  So amazing was the night that it couldn’t just be a reception and then everyone goes home.  No ma’am, this one went all night with an after party taking place at Club Trio, with the remaining guests completely letting loose and having the time of their lives.  For such a fun couple, this was the perfect end to an amazing day!
