Kirby & Land { Pitt Street Bridge Engagement }

Emily B. had the privilege of spending time East of the Cooper recently for some beautiful Pitt Street Bridge engagement portraits and we’re elated to share her experience with you today!  The Pitt Street Bridge is in the Old Village portion of Mount Pleasant just north of the peninsula and offers a rustic view of the gorgeous marsh surrounding the harbor.  The duo met up with Emily at Tavern and Table where they were enjoying some cocktails next to the glittering water.  We adore Kirby’s printed dress and tan sandals – she looks right at home among the boats on the creek.  Land is quite handsome himself in his khakis and baby blue button-up rounded out by a nice pair of loafers.  The duo looked ready for a day on the water.

The sun-drenched wood of the Pitt Street Bridge was the ideal location for a couple with an outdoorsy side.  The marsh was the ideal backdrop for their portraits, and we adore the amount of fun the duo was having together.  They wanted portraits that felt natural and reflected their easygoing personalities and that perfectly shows.  They took a break from the bridge to walk down close to the water and the golden glow of the fading sun was the perfect compliment to the photos.

After walking the length of the bridge to Pickett Park, it was almost time to call it a day, but Emily wanted to make sure they had the most amazing portraits and the bright pinks and oranges of the setting sun made for a stunning scene.  Holding on to one another and flashing the camera just one more smile, the duo capped off their afternoon with a few more beautiful portraits and we’re so happy to have been there to capture them.
