Kasey & Friends { Hampton Park Portraits }

While weddings are amazing events with so much to do and so much to capture, sometimes it’s fun to spend a little time with an intimate group of people.  In these Hampton Park portraits that Haley photographed, Kasey and a couple of her friends (since elementary school!) celebrated one of life’s milestones, and we’re excited to share a few favorite moments!  30 is an age that some people dread with a fair few using the classic “first anniversary of the 29th birthday.”  Kasey, however, embraced the day with a trip to Charleston and featured a couple of golden balloons as centerpieces to the joyful photos.  With the park in full bloom and trees full of life, the gold fit in well with the subtle browns and greens of the surroundings.

The three ladies look beautiful for their portraits.  A comfy checkered sleeveless shirt was a nice companion to denim shorts.  A fun patterned black and white dress with blue strapped sandals is perfect for a cool spring afternoon in the low country.  Kasey was lovely in her sleeveless blue sundress with lace trim.  Brown flats brought the upscale casual look together and made for fun-loving portraits.

The trio had a blast walking around the park.  The trees hung with Spanish moss, which created a shadowy canopy letting through just a few beams of light.  After some portraits in a grove of pines with fallen needles all around, Haley pulled Kasey away for just a few photos of the birthday girl for some early maternity portraits – 30 is not the only reason Kasey had to celebrate!  Her radiance, bright eyes and lovely smile lit up Hampton Park and there was just a glow about her.  We’re so glad that we were able to join these three for their fun day out roaming around downtown.
