Jessica & Rok { William Aiken House Wedding }

Charleston’s historic homes feature beautiful architecture and period decor perfect for traditional and southern chic weddings.  A William Aiken House wedding is always stunning because of the house itself and the private courtyard ceremonies that are so inviting and intimate.  Priscilla had the privilege of capturing a lovely event at William Aiken, and we’re excited to share our favorite moments with you.  Jessica was radiant in her low-back wedding gown with ornate lace overlay on top.  A pair of cluster style earrings were the perfect compliment to her elegant look.  She stunned in her bridal portraits against the house’s iconic custard yellow.

Down in the quaint courtyard, Rok stood in front of his guests looking quite handsome himself in a blue three-piece suit and stylish bow tie.  White peonies lined the aisle and the surrounding trees created a quiet sanctuary for the intimate ceremony.  Jessica and Rok exchanged their vows in front of an aged arched doors with a beautiful wreath of white flowers adding a natural touch.  Their vows were short and sweet and before long, they were newlyweds.  Their portraits were playful and fun. We adore how in love they look.  Jessica’s smile was radiant, and Rok seemed caught up in the moment.  They were just too perfect!

Lush white floral arrangements and flickering votives sat atop white linen tabletops lining the house’s veranda.  The soft, natural theme wove throughout the reception and culminated in the flower chandeliers with hand-strung flowers.  We love the bits of gold and green dotted across the space.  String lights over the checkered dance floor created an intimate golden glow under which many dances and laughs were shared.  As night fell, the party amped up, and our newlyweds danced long into the night with their family and friends.  It was a lively end to a perfect day.
