Jaimie & Tyler {The Carolina Girl Yacht Wedding}

We’ve had lovely weather in Charleston for the past few weeks- what better way to spend one of these beautiful days than on a boat?! Jaimie & Tyler were married on a bright and sunny afternoon aboard The Carolina Girl yacht. Before the big day Jamie told us, “Who gets married on a yacht? We don’t know anyone who has, so that was part of the draw!” Naturally the theme was nautical- Jaimie & Tyler chose navy blue, green, and white for their wedding day palette. Bright green orchids and palmetto roses were the perfect pop of color in Jaimie’s bouquet and at the reception site. The boat’s Captain Bob officiated their ceremony on the upper deck as The Carolina Girl cruised down the Wappoo Cut, providing stunning views of the Lowcountry rivers and marsh. After exchanging vows, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a lovely southern meal from Hamby Catering and danced the rest of the night away to the funky tunes of the on-board DJ.
