Jackie & Matthew {Downtown Charleston Mills House Wedding}

Hi, everyone! Brittany here, with a wedding to share. Jackie & Matthew were married in downtown Charleston last weekend. I had so much fun with this couple during their engagement shoot and I couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding! These two recently moved to Charleston and were looking forward to spending time with their family and friends on their special day. After a beautiful ceremony downtown at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the wedding party and guests headed to The Mills House for dinner and dancing. Jackie chose ivory, gold, and jewel-toned pinks for the reception site. “We want this day to be fabulous!” she told us, “We would like to somehow create an intimate feeling even though we are inviting 200 people!” And it was just that.
