Hannah & Kevin { Downtown Charleston Portraits }

Shannon recently went Downtown for some playful and romantic Downtown Charleston portraits and we’re happy to share them with you! Hannah and Kevin met while attending Furman University as student-athletes and have been together ever since. They are both very fun individuals and Hannah wanted to incorporate that lightheartedness into their portraits. As Charleston boasts many beautiful architectural features, Shannon incorporated buildings as much as possible into her photographs and the deep Southern feel complimented the couple’s outfits perfectly. The coordinated look featured brown shoes, stylish denim and hats perfect for the weather.

The exposed brick wall that Shannon chose for the first few portraits lent a nice rustic feel to the photos. The blue shutters of one building complimented the couple beautifully and their smiles and laughter create the candid feel we love in our portraiture. Check out the Charleston ironwork featured in the background of the couple’s close-ups. We love the representation of the city that Hannah and Kevin said they visit as much as possible. Shannon finished up with the iconic Battery and Charleston Harbor in the background. The couple shared a few more romantic moments just as the sun set on the peninsula.
