Haley & Brett { Boone Hall Plantation Wedding }

Bridgit had the privilege of photographing a stunning Boone Hall Plantation wedding and we’re excited to share some of our favorite photos from the day. Boone Hall is located fifteen minutes north of Charleston in Mount Pleasant and has become one of Charleston’s most popular wedding venues. Bridgit utilized the plantation’s abundant natural beauty as she captured Haley and Brett’s day. After a ride in a restored trolley, the couple shared their first look in one of Boone Hall’s gardens. Haley’s sleeveless gown with an embellished overlay and textured Badgley Mischka peek-toe shoes looked amazing. Brett’s quite handsome in his blue and grey suit and we love the custom embroidery commemorating the wedding day.

The iconic Cotton Dock was the venue for the ceremony and was beautifully transformed with billowing drapery tied with a lush bouquet that included hydrangea and lamb’s ear. The inside of the aisle featured mason jars of gyp and a gorgeous chandelier accented by strands of lights completed the beautiful, warm atmosphere. Haley and Brett exchanged vows just before sunset with Horlbeck Creek flowing lazily behind them. With the reception taking place inside the Cotton Dock, everyone didn’t have to go far to get the party started!

Building upon the Dock’s warm wood interior, the reception was a beautiful, elegant affair. Natural beauty and unique takes on classic wedding details dominated the décor. White floral centerpieces and mercury candle votives accented white linens and the window-pane seating chart was lovely. We adore the dessert table, with a cake for the bride and groom and an assortment of delicious pies for the guests. After enjoying the delectable meal, sweet treats and a few heartfelt speeches, the newlyweds shared their first dance. The guests joined in afterwards and a lively event ensued, ending only when Haley and Brett made their escape. The getaway vehicle was a lovely cream and white vintage sedan and Bridgit was able to catch one last kiss before they drove away.

We would like to thank the both of you again for including us in such a beautiful and fun day. We wish you nothing but happiness in the years to come! Congratulations!
