The Gellers { Kiawah Island Family }

Whether traditional, posed photos or candid snaps, Kiawah Island family portraits are always a fun-filled experience.  Bridgit’s recent encounter with the Gellers was such an amazing time, and we’re thrilled to share her favorite moments with you today!  Like most families, the Gellers simply wanted to commemorate their time together which as we all know is a rarity given how busy life is.  While some folks like to color-coordinate or base their portraits around a theme, this particular family wanted COMFORT and we love the myriad outfits.  From subdued grey to a brilliant yellow, each person’s personality shone through.

Bridgit met up with the family at their private residence and quickly snapped a few traditional portraits with the adults, the entire group and a few smaller groups.  The abundant green of the area created a beautiful, natural atmosphere that was perfect for the family photos, and we love the individual energies each person added.  A curved stair with iron railing was excellent for couples portraits while a shaded path with overgrown bushes perfectly framed some of the family photos.

Afterwards, some of the family headed down to the beach to spend some time in the surf.  Despite the clouds, their smiles never faded and we fell in love with how happy they all were together.  Mom and dad took turns spending time with their son and daughter as the waves rolled lazily behind them.  Then the daughter took over and we were treated to a ballet performance by the ocean.  She was a yellow flash sprinting back and forth and leaping high into the air.  To be a part of something so fun was a real treat and her energy just rubbed off on everyone around her.  She was the perfect end to a beautiful day.

Thank you all for bringing us into your family for a short while.  We had so much fun getting to know all of you and hope you enjoyed the rest of your visit to Charleston!
