Farewell to our friend, Lucy

In November 2011, we met a very bright and friendly young lady named Lucy who was eager to explore the world of photography. She offered her services as a studio assistant, and we gladly accepted. With her degree in Marketing and Design and expertise in fashion, we quickly realized Lucy had an eye for beautiful things! It didn’t take long for her to become a cornerstone of the business. Lucy was dependable 100% of the time. On Mondays, the photographers delivered their raw images from the weekend to the studio. Greeted with a cheerful smile every time, the photographers loved Lucy and counted on her editing expertise to make the photos look their best!

She grew to be a fantastic photographer in her own right. Shooting weddings with all the wedding photographers, she was the in-demand 2nd shooter. It wasn’t long until Lucy found her passion for portrait work and created her own business while still supporting our studio.

This week was bitter-sweet because it was Lucy’s last week with Riverland Studios. She is moving back to her hometown of Orlando to open her portrait photography business. With her incredible work ethic and raw talent, we have no doubt that she will have great success in Orlando!
