Check out this sweet sneak peek of Brandy & Scott’s wedding at The Mills House! Prior to the wedding we asked the couple how they met and fell in love. This was Brandy’s response:
“My fiance and I are both finishing up our last year of law school. I met him about a week after school started, but he swears he doesn’t remember me. He says we met a few weeks later, when we started running into one another at the library more often. One night I made an apple pie and brought it to school for a small group of us — we had a huge assignment due the next day and we were pulling all nighters at the library. Everyone proposed marriage to me after my pie except for him, and that made me mad. I figured I had to try harder. So i kept baking for him (and everyone else) until he finally, a year and half later, proposed.”
I thought that was such a cute story and not just because I’ve got apple pie on the brain for Thanksgiving! Brandy and Scott were originally going to honeymoon in Charleston. When they began to plan their wedding they decided to cut their guest list to just family and very close friends and have everyone come celebrate here in the Lowcountry. We are so thrilled that they did and excited to share the sweet Fall wedding with you.
