Anne & Brett { Charleston Harbor Resort Wedding }

Bridgit recently ventured to Patriots Point for a lovely Charleston Harbor Resort wedding and we’re excited to share some of our favorite photos from the wedding! Anne and Brett met through online dating and shared their first date in Washington, DC and the rest is history. Choosing Charleston Harbor Resort created an all-in-one experience for the couple. The resort hosted their nuptials on a waterfront manmade beach. Anne was absolutely stunning in her strapless airy bridal gown that was perfectly complimented by an heirloom necklace and matching earrings. A gorgeous bouquet of pinks and white bouquet rounded out her bridal look with a nice pop of color.

The ceremony was simply beautiful, taking place underneath a white arbor adorned with sprawling floral bouquets. The bridesmaids matched the pink color palette while Brett and his groomsmen were quite handsome in their khaki suits. After exchanging vows, Bridgit led the newlyweds to nearby palmetto trees for some gorgeous portraits. We love the smiles these two are sharing and can feel the love in the pictures. A few moments later, it was off to the reception for food and fun with family and friends.

It’s always exciting to see what couples come up with as variations of classic wedding fare. Anne and Brett opted for a vintage wooden American flag for their guestbook. The flag complimented the rustic accents featured in the tablescapes and wood rounds on the cake table. The golds and pinks dominated and created a wonderful, sophisticated atmosphere perfect for cocktails and plenty of laughter. We love the outdoor first dance to Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time,” and the sweet kiss between the two toward the end. Following the delicious meal provided by the Harbor Resort, Anne and Brett joined the guests on the dance floor and spent the rest of their day having the time of their lives.
