Jamie & Ross { Alhambra Hall Wedding }

Just north of Charleston, Mount Pleasant hosts a ton of beautiful wedding venues.  An Alhambra Hall wedding features rustic charm and breathtaking harbor views perfect for idyllic photos.  For Jamie and Ross, they envisioned a classic feel for their wedding and the southern atmosphere of Alhambra was perfect.  Jamie was absolutely radiant in her gown and, in a twist, baby blue classic Converse sneakers.  Classic wedding or not, she was going to be comfortable, and she looked so great with Ross as they met for their first look.  He was rocking the classic Converse sneakers as well.  They complimented his navy blue suit and grey bow tie perfectly.  The duo shared a few intimate moments together before portraits with their wedding party.  They gathered with their bridesmaids and groomsmen near the waterfront for some fun and playful photos before the ceremony.

They spent some time with their furbaby, Luna, who looked so, so cute in a wreath collar.  Outside, guests were taking their seats on rows of honey-colored chairs in front of a gnarled, sprawling oak tree.  As Jamie and Ross stood in front of their closest friends and family, Luna was also with them to witnesses their vows.  They recited the sacred words to one another and swore to love one another forever, sealing it with a kiss.  Their newlywed portraits featured Luna as well.  They were a beautiful family standing on the edge of the grounds with the water behind them.

Back at Alhambra Hall, the drinks were flowing and guests were playing party games and catching up.  Navy, white, and grey dotted every surface, and we love the subtle tones chosen for the wedding palette.  Centerpieces of white football mums and hydrangeas were the perfect compliment to the decor.  The exposed beams and white surfaces created a warm and inviting atmosphere and a tangible joy coursed through the reception.  After the sun went down, the soft glow of the house lights cast a romantic golden hue perfect for those firelight conversations with a slice of cake from Wildflour Pastry.  In the center of their guests, Jamie and Ross held onto one another and spun in the dance floor, thinking only of each other and their next adventure.
