Chelsea & Michael { Cedar Room Wedding }

A Cedar Room wedding combines all of the charm of the Holy City with a touch of modern flair.  With exposed brick and wrought iron, the rustic atmosphere is perfect for intimate and romantic weddings.  We’re excited to share one with you today!  Emily met up with Chelsea and her entourage as they finished getting ready.  Laughter filled the air, and we love the moments that Emily snapped where everyone was just having a blast with each other.  Chelsea was so beautiful in her lace gown and glittered pink strapped heels.  Awaiting Chelsea’s arrival for their first look in the private courtyard, Michael was quite handsome himself in a black suit with white tie.

Chelsea tapped Michael on the shoulder and his face when he turned was that of awe.  His bride-to-be was so gorgeous and we adore his kissing of her hand.  Take notes gentlemen, this is how you treat a lady!  They laughed together and held on for a while in the cool afternoon before the wedding party jumped in with them.  A few moments of portraits later and it was time to get the show on the road, literally.  A vintage trolley carried them down to a cobblestone path for a few more photos before heading to the Cedar Room to sign the ketubah and have the wedding ceremony.

Romantically draped fabric transformed a stretch of distressed brick wall into an enchanting backdrop for the couple to marry beneath the chuppah – the perfect spot to combine two lives.  The traditional Jewish ceremony looked so beautiful surrounding by their closest family and friends.  After the Rabbi introduced them as newlyweds, everyone burst into applause and it was time to party!

Champagne and pink hues coursed throughout the room.  Underneath the warmth of the lighting, glasses glittered and it seemed as if the entire room sparkled.  After a splendid dinner, the ballroom portion of the evening took off with the first dance.  Not long after though, the party kicked into high gear with the Emerald Empire Band playing long into the night.  Michael and Chelsea headed out after dark beneath a cascade of sparklers with Michael dipping his new bride for one beautiful kiss before stealing away into the night.  It was an excellent end to such a romantic evening.

Thank you both for bringing us into your families for this beautiful day.  We wish you all of the best in the many years to come!
