Tessa { Magnolia Plantation Bridal Portraits }

Sara met with Tessa to capture some gorgeous Magnolia Plantation bridal portraits. Located 15 minutes from downtown Charleston in the West Ashley portion of the city, Magnolia Plantation is known for its deep southern charm and unending natural beauty. According to Tessa, she and her fiance spend time on Fripp Island and at Riverdogs games, so she was comfortable everywhere Sara wanted to go. The picture of Tessa on the shadowed, leaf-strewn path is simple and beautiful and we love her smile amidst all of the deep green. An aged oak tree hanging over the Ashley River served as another set piece and Tessa even embraced a little climbing for another set of portraits.

The natural surroundings really complimented Tessa’a classic and beautiful gown. Perfect for the season, the gown itself appears quite ethereal, with lace overlay on the bodice and flowing skirt. A vibrant bouquet of seasonal flowers were the perfect accompaniment, matching Tessa’a bright smile and her red hair. Walking alongside one of Magnolia Plantation’s many gorgeous gardens, the bouquet appeared to have been plucked directly from the grounds themselves and the effect is lovely. We are absolutely in love with the distant portrait of Tessa walking over the iconic bridge, creating a timeless moment that defines the experience in the gardens. Tessa finished her time with Sara at a quaint gazebo and was all smiles as she took in the final moments in such a gorgeous location.
