Bridgit ventured east of the Cooper River for an intimate Cottages on Charleston Harbor wedding that we are excited to share with you today! The Cottages on Charleston Harbor are located on historic Patriots Point, and are arranged just steps from the water’s edge which make for a perfect intimate waterfront wedding.
Jess was a classic beautiful bride in a strapless ball gown with lace overlay and beaded accents. The amazing team at Ooh! Beautiful gave her a flawless bridal up-do that was completed with a sparkly headpiece and stunning necklace. Be sure to check out Jess’ ring which we are all envious of! Terrell looked handsome in a classic white and black suit, adding a pop of color with his teal tie.
Ooh! Events designed the perfect romantic ocean side ceremony. The breezy beach theme paired well with the all-white florals. The altar looked amazing with white billowing fabric, and lush floral arrangements of white roses, hydrangeas, lilies and some greenery mixed in. After exchanging “I do’s” in the sand, the natural beach environment provided a perfect backdrop for some couple photos. Steps away from the ceremony space, the reception setup included natural wooden tables topped with square vases of white roses and hydrangeas. White chairs lined the lawn overlooking the water for the guests to relax and just enjoy the view. We especially liked the outdoor lounge set for a cozy space to mingle for their friends and family.
The newlyweds danced the night away on the lawn under a glow of cafe lights. Bridgit made sure to sneak the couple away for some beautiful sunset photos, she did a lovely job of capturing their magical day. We want to thank Terrell and Jess for allowing us to be a part of their wedding day and we hope for a life together filled with love and adventure!
