Emily had the privilege of capturing some fun and lighthearted Folly Beach engagement portraits, and we’re quite thrilled to share some of her experiences with you today. One of Charleston’s most popular destinations, Folly Beach features beautiful oceanfront vistas as well as several secluded spots for the perfect portraits. The location was ideal for Susan and Robert who love any time they can get in the sun along with open spaces for their dogs to run around. For their portraits, our couple wanted to incorporate their pups where possible and we always love the opportunity to capture folks playing with their pets. In the secluded part of the beach that Emily chose, it was easy to get them running through the sand and just having a great time.
Susan and Robert looked amazing together as they walked amongst the gnarled trees at the north end of Folly Beach. We love their wardrobe choices as well, especially since they went barefoot in the warm sand! Susan was simply gorgeous in a printed, beach-themed dress that perfectly matched Robert’s white and pastel pullover. Their ensembles looked custom made for the brilliant, sunny afternoon and brought some beautiful color to the sunwashed trees lining the beach. And their spirit and sense of adventure was infectious. We don’t have too many couples who jump at the idea of rock climbing as part of their engagement portraits but Susan and Robert were ready to go. With a couple that was this much fun, it’s no surprise that their engagement portraits were fantastic. We’re looking forward to capturing their wedding next Spring.
Thank you both for choosing Riverland Studios to chronicle this exciting chapter in your lives and we can’t wait to work with you in the year to come. Congratulations again!
