Raelle & Daniel { Wickliffe House Wedding }

Noni recently headed downtown for a breathtaking Wickliffe House wedding and we’re excited to share our favorite moments with you today! One of Charleston’s idyllic historic houses, the Wickliffe House boasts spacious banquet rooms with tons of natural light and spectacular spaces with a beautiful mix of old architecture and modern design. For Raelle and Daniel, this lovely mesh of style fit their wedding perfectly. The bright hues of the Wickliffe House added a splash of color that brought out the silver detail of her dress and made the blue of her Badgley Mischka shoes pop. Our bride glimmered in the sunlight during the first look alongside Daniel who was decked out in a slate grey suit and sand-colored bow tie. After some perfect portraits and a bit of time with family and friends, it was time to tie the knot!

The Wickliffe House’s manicured front lawn was transformed with rows of light brown chairs and an arbor of sun-bleached wood adorned with bouquets. The two story columns and idyllic facade of the Wickliffe House was an exceptional backdrop for the ceremony. Representing two faiths, the ceremony was an emotional affair and after the vows were exchanged, the families descended on the newlyweds. Noni was able to steal the duo away for a short while and led them to some quiet streets for their newlywed portraits. Iconic ironwork and weathered brick walls offered gorgeous environments for the perfect pictures, and we love Raelle’s brilliant bouquet against the grey and black backgrounds.

Back at the Wickliffe House, the guests were gearing up for what was to be a lively reception filled with music, dancing, and delicious food. Floor-to-ceiling windows flooded the reception with natural light, and we love the glow glittering on the polished floor. When they arrived, Raelle and Daniel shared their first dance, and it wasn’t long before the crowd joined them. Around the room, guests shared stories and drinks as night slowly fell on the day. Anxious to find their next adventure together, Raelle and Daniel departed beneath an arch of sparklers to their waiting getaway car.
