Rachel & Richard {Island House Wedding}

We are so in love with this white, whimsical and truly southern Island House wedding! Rachel and Richard’s closest friends and family came together on a beautiful summer day in Charleston to celebrate the love of this happy couple.  Rachel looked absolutely breathtaking in her Ivy & Aster wedding gown, the delicate lacy complimenting her glowing skin perfectly.  Her bridesmaids also were dressed in white lace, and my goodness did they look gorgeous!  We love it when a bride is not afraid to try something out of the ordinary when it comes to weddings party attire, and this is a perfect example of how it is so worth it to be daring.  After a very joyful and emotion exchange of the vows, guests enjoyed cocktails on the lush, green lawn of The Island House, overlooking the water.  We just love looking back on the romantic portraits of the bride and groom among the field of colorful flowers, and the warm glow of sunset on the dock.  It is evident to all that Rachel and Richard absolutely adore each other, and how much they are able to make each other laugh.  After a delicious dinner catered by the amazing Three Little Birds Cafe, guests danced the night away to the musical talents of the Emerald Empire Band, until the bride and groom made their spirited exit onto the water.  We wish a long and happy marriage for the two of you, and hope that you enjoy reliving your wedding day through a handful of our favorite images below 🙂
