Melissa & David { Edmunds Oast Wedding }

Amanda had the privilege of photographing a casual and fun Edmunds Oast wedding. Melissa and David were originally married last year but decided to give their families a formal wedding day and ended up getting lost in the excitement themselves. White Point Garden served as the initial destination where Amanda captured some timeless bridal portraits and a heart-warming first look. Melissa stunned in her vintage-inspired gown that was complimented perfectly by a satin ribbon belt and a gorgeous seasonal bouquet with a heirloom brooch. She and David shared some romantic moments under the sprawling oaks, which provided a Southern beauty that complimented Melissa’s dress. We absolutely love their little boy, Oliver, who really stole the show in a little suit that matched David’s dapper look.

The simple yet splendid ceremony was held at Coleman Hall in Mount Pleasant. We love the intimate and inviting atmosphere of the venue and its quaint grounds. Amanda made great use of the natural beauty of the location following the ceremony, capturing the couple holding onto one another amidst the foliage. Check out the vintage getaway car provided by ACW Limo. The stylish ride was a perfect addition to the vintage inspiration for the wedding.

The reception at Edmund’s Oast was a lively and unique affair, with the restaurant setting out tables of gourmet food for guests to sample. The picnic table inspired look was fantastic and we love the simple, elegant décor and the neat little details found throughout. The photo of the kids’ table is one of our favorites. The younger guests had a fantastic time with the numerous activities set out for them. As the sunlight faded into dusk, speeches were made and a delicious meal shared. We’re still talking about the transformation of Edmund’s Oast and the fun that all of the guests had. It was truly a fantastic experience.
