Amanda headed to Mount Pleasant for some fun Boone Hall Plantation engagement portraits and we’re excited to share them with you today! Boone Hall is one of Charleston’s premiere engagement and wedding venues, boasting some of the areas most gorgeous vistas and grounds bursting with Southern charm. Lissie and Brayden opted to begin their portraits with their puppy, Goose, and we love the bone-shaped save-the-date sign they had for him. The couple chose casual denim looks for the first half of their shoot and the rustic feel of their ensembles fit the atmosphere and venue perfectly. Amanda featured Boone Hall’s sprawling live oaks and in-bloom cotton field in framing Lissie and Brayden as they held on to one another. An affectionate couple is always fun and we were lucky to have found one with these two!
After a quick wardrobe change into a fuchsia sundress for her and a baby blue button-up and blue jeans for him, the couple spent a little time underneath some spanish moss. We love the idyllic atmosphere that spanish moss creates and on the trees lining Horlbeck Creek, it’s absolutely stunning. Amanda took the opportunity to capture Lissie and Brayden in front of one of a beautiful live oak stretching over the marsh and they were adventurous enough to climb up on one of the branches for a few moments. We love the photo of them kissing with the marsh stretching out into the background. Amanda finished the portraits by capturing the couple walking hand-in-hand down the iconic avenue of oaks and stealing a last sweet kiss before wrapping things up.
We want to say congratulations again to you two and hope the next few months go smoothly in the lead-up to your wedding. We wish you both the best of luck in the many changes coming your way in 2016!
