Bridgit recently spent some time east of the Cooper River to capture a classic and elegant Seaside Farms Proper wedding, and we’re quite thrilled to share some of our favorite moments with you today! Seaside Farms Proper is a gorgeous space minutes from Downtown and Isle of Palms that features deeply Southern vistas with sprawling live oaks. Landon and Ramsey imagined their wedding as a 1920s styled garden party with some traditional themes and an air of sophistication. Landon’s dress, a fitted, lace-textured bodice with a layered train, was complimented by glitter peek-toe Jimmy Choo heels and a beautiful white bouquet. Her bridesmaids’ gold sequined dresses were perfectly 20s and we love the pop of gold color complimenting Landon’s look. Ramsey was very handsome in his grey and black suit accented with gold cufflinks and stylish shades.
Beneath the sprawling oak trees at an altar of gossamer curtains trimmed in greenery and lush flowers, Landon and Ramsey took part in an orthodox ceremony. The furry ring bearer and adorable flower girl made the experience that much more amazing. Following their exchange of vows, Landon and Ramsey spent some time under some of the beautiful trees. The Spanish moss was perfect for the Southern atmosphere and brought a lovely natural element to the newlywed portraits. The moments on the swing, however, were absolutely stunning and we love the playfulness between the two!
The reception was held in huge, open tent with modern geometrical gold and glass lights. Miniature versions of the lanterns dotted each table, resting upon cotton tablecloths. The glittery gold palette created a warm, sophisticated atmosphere that beckoned all around it. The string lights added to the romantic ambiance as the sun began to fade, and gave all the glow necessary for a beautiful first dance. Our couple stared into each others eyes, lost in a moment just about them. They enjoyed dancing with family and friends until the time came for their departure. Underneath a shower of sparklers, they ran off into the night to continue an adventure that started years ago in North Carolina.
We want to thank you two for allowing us to share in the beautiful day you created. We wish you nothing but the best as you return to the Windy City to begin the next chapter in your lives. Congratulations again!
