Kim { Downtown Charleston Bridal Portraits }

Last Spring, Sara photographed Kim’s beautiful downtown Charleston bridal portraits and we are excited to share them with you!  Sara chose several secluded locations throughout the downtown area and made great use of iconic Charleston ironwork fences and doorscapes, along with other entrances to frame this stunning bride.  Many of the buildings are vibrant hues, another well-known  feature of Charleston’s historic architecture, that worked well to accentuate Kim’s dress.  Kim was dazzling in her embellished, halter lace dress. Her regal style was complimented by a spring bouquet of classic white roses, perfect for a Charleston bridal session, and blue hydrangea for a pop of color.

In the summer, Riverland Studios was honored to capture Kim once more as she married Mac in a beautiful Charleston-themed wedding at The Island House on Johns Island just south of Charleston proper.  With families self-described as laid back, we knew we were in for a fun experience and we were not disappointed.  After an elegant outdoor ceremony on the grounds of The Island House, the festivities moved to a tented reception area.  The couple danced and dined with family and friends and even found time to sneak away for just a few newlywed portraits at sunset.  For such a fun couple, this was the perfect moment and we couldn’t be happier for them.  Congratulations again!
