Kelsey & Mark { Cotton Dock Wedding }

A Cotton Dock wedding is always an incredible experience.  From the waterfront views to the avenue of oaks and the idyllic Cotton Dock, the plantation lends itself to all themes for an unforgettable day.  Priscilla was on hand for a stunning wedding with Kelsey and Mark.  We’re excited to share her experiences with you!  The bride-to-be and her entourage gathered at a beach house on Isle of Palms to get ready for the wedding festivities.  We love that the couple’s lovable, fluffy dog was included in the day as well!  An intricate lace bodice was a stunning feature of Kelsey’s gown.  Elegant earrings and her grandmother’s ring completed a simply gorgeous ensemble.  Awaiting his beautiful bride’s arrival, Mark looked quite dashing in his blue suit and burgundy red bow tie.  The couple shared an intimate first look that has us swooning over such sweet moments between the two lovebirds.

The wide branches of Boone Hall’s live oaks stretched over the guests gathered on the side lawn of the avenue of oaks.  The trees and Spanish moss were the perfect backdrop for the ceremony.  The flower girls were quite adorable their poufy white dresses (perfect for twirling!) and matching flower crowns.  Kelsey and Mark exchanged their vows amidst golden light streaming through the grand oak branches.  After their first kiss as husband and wife, the newlyweds cheered and Mark couldn’t help but lift and carry his bride up the aisle.  They beamed holding onto one another with so much natural beauty all around them.  We just love the cozy, intimate poses of the couple during their portraits.  Their love and elation show through!

The Cotton Dock held the reception and the couple chose to let its natural rustic beauty shine. The aged, exposed wood created a warm and welcoming space for the celebration.  Guests sipped on champagne and partook on such delicious apps as chicken and waffles by Duvall Catering.  The couple opted for a fiery entrance with a sparkler introduction!  Guests cheered as the newlyweds ran through the row of sparklers into the Cotton Dock for their first dance.  The celebration was only beginning!

We had so much fun getting to know both of you and your families.  Thank you for bringing us along for such an amazing day.  We wish you nothing but good health and happiness in the years to come.  Congratulations again!
