Kate & Adam { Seabrook Island Wedding }

Jeanne headed down to the beach for a Seabrook Island wedding and we’re excited to be able to share some of the special moments from that day. Kate and Adam met through online dating and consider themselves to be casual, laid back, and fun. The wedding day fit their personalities perfectly as it was a lovely series of festive events. Beginning in her aunt’s beach home, Kate readied herself for the ceremony. Her strapless, patterned overlay wedding dress was absolutely perfect and the satin bow on the back added a final elegant adornment to her bridal style. Pearls in her hair and on a beautiful necklace completed a look of splendor. We also adore her bow accented peek-toe flats to round out her bridal look.

Kate and Adam’s first look was romantic and touching. His elation to be with his bride is evident in his reaction. Jeanne led them to a wooden path surrounded by beach grass and their portraits are stunning. We especially love how Adam’s eyes hardly left Kate and his smile never faded. The portrait of the shared kiss atop the wooden walkway to the beach is simply beautiful.

After venturing in the beach grass, the couple made their way to the shore for their intimate ceremony. They exchanged vows beneath a green arbor sprinkled with red and yellow flowers, with the ocean waves in the distance. After the ceremony, the wedding party took a stroll down the beach before Jeanne stole the newlyweds away for a few more portraits on that quiet walkway. Then, it was time for the party!

With a family home readily available, the opportunities were endless for reception decoration and we love that the couple chose chic white paper lanterns and tables draped in soft peach linen. The subtle peach hydrangea centerpieces complimented the fabric as well as the bridesmaids’ bouquets. The cake from Sablee was absolutely stunning and captured the simple chic atmosphere of the reception. The couple shared in their celebration with close friends and family, a perfect way to spend their first day together as husband and wife.

We would like to say congratulations again to the two of you and thank you for choosing us to capture your wedding day. We hope for many blessings and successes in the years to come!
