Jimena & Brian { Lowndes Grove Wedding }

We are so excited to share the dreamiest Lowndes Grove Wedding with you today!  Lowndes Grove Plantation is a gorgeous waterfront estate located on the historic Charleston peninsula.  Surrounded by live oaks, overlooking the Ashley River it is a truly remarkable venue.  Distinguished on the National Register for Historic Places, the main house showcases 1786-era architecture with period furnishings, a large piazza and grand lawn overlooking the waterfront.  Situated on the north west side of the peninsula, the panoramic sunset views can not be beat.  It is the epitome of low country beauty!

Jimena and Brian are high school sweethearts who have spent the majority of their relationship long distance due to careers. Jimena’s vision for their day was natural elegance, with a color palette mostly white with some touches of gold and champagne.

Emily started her day in the sun filled rooms of the main house capturing all the sweet little details and fun candid moments of the ladies getting ready.  Jimena looked like perfection in her lace fit and flare gown, and how flawless are her soft curls from the talented team at Lashes and Lace.  Also be sure to check out her insanely gorgeous Jimmy Choo’s!

The couple exchanged their vows on the main lawn, overlooking the waterfront just as the sun was starting to set, creating a beautiful golden glow in the background.  After the ceremony, Emily was able to whisk the newlyweds away to take advantage of the golden light for some seriously dreamy portraits.

Paraiso Events did an incredible job creating the perfect relaxed upscale reception atmosphere.  The design included some beautiful long farmhouse tables lined with greenery, gold pineapple table numbers and champagne colored linens. Under the twinkling string lights, Jimena and Brian danced the night away with their family and friends and from the looks of it DJ Natty Heavy kept that dance floor full all night!  A beautiful sparkler departure wrapped up this perfect day, and we just want to thank Jimena and Brian for allowing us to be a part of their special day.
