During a recent Downtown Charleston anniversary session, a couple celebrating 1-year married wanted to create additional bridal and newlywed portraits in the Low Country. The Herringtons originally chose Charleston as a destination wedding and couldn’t think of a better spot for their anniversary celebration. Emily M. was elated to document their romantic and timeless portrait session. Here are a few of our favorite moments!
The bride Lindsay was absolutely stunning. The mermaid styled gown was complimented beautifully by a white and burgundy bouquet and diamond drop earrings. The floral palette matched Alex’s tie perfectly and he looked quite handsome in a slate grey suit and rich brown leather shoes. The duo hung onto one another for just a little bit, posing some and having a ton of fun just celebrating each other. But, Lindsay was the star and he gave her center stage.
Emily took her around to beautiful home-fronts and quiet alleys around the Rainbow Row area. We simply love the lane with the brick wall covered in ivy. The green created a lovely, rustic atmosphere. Coupled with the cobblestones and the southern charm was simply to die for! When Emily brought her to a quiet walk overlooking the marsh, hubby jumped back in for sunset portraits The pinks and oranges made for a romantic backdrop – it was the perfect end to such a beautiful day.
Thank you for choosing us to bring your bridal portraits to life. We wish you all the best in the years moving forward!
