Emily captured a lovely downtown Charleston anniversary session with a really fun couple, and we are elated to show you our favorites! Gwendolyn and Daniel met in high school, dated through college and finally married in 2011. They adore Charleston and couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary! The day began with some of the city’s more idyllic settings at the lovely Zero George and our duo dressed to match. Gwendolyn was gorgeous in her light pink dress/dress pants complimented by a maroon floral necklace. A deep blue suit was the perfect fit for Daniel complimented by a patterned tie and light brown loafers. Emily framed the couple in beautiful stairwells and against aged walls that added an idyllic atmosphere to the portraits but we love the series inside of the historic house. The squared staircase and modern rustic sitting room were perfect locations for both romantic and more traditional photos.
A change of scenery brought a change in wardrobe for the celebrating couple. Gwendolyn opted for a floral printed dress perfect for the changing Charleston weather and Daniel dressed down in a blue button-up and khakis, a Charleston summer staple. They followed Emily to a harborside venue with a beautiful view of the Arthur Ravenel Bridge. We adore the little beach they found and how in love they still look. And, of course, a quick kiss is always adorable. The water seemed to bring out a playfulness in them and a touch of levity to the portraits as the laughter became more frequent and we were blessed to have been able to capture them just being themselves.
Thank you both again for bringing us along for your anniversary and we hope you have many, many more! See you again very soon!
