Emily & Ethan { Harbour Club Wedding }

Marylou was given the opportunity to photograph a beautiful Harbour Club wedding and we are excited to share a few of our favorites with you today! The day began with a view of the Charleston skyline as Emily was putting the finishing touches on her bridal look. Her gorgeous lace gown had an vintage, timeless style and was complimented perfectly by a silver beaded belt and royal blue peek-toe heels. Her classic all white bouquet of roses and hydrangea complimented her elegant bridal style. Before heading inside St. Luke’s Chapel for the ceremony, Marylou took Emily to the chapel’s courtyard for some bridal portraits. Despite the rain falling, Emily was all smiles and her bridal ensemble was perfect in the historic courtyard. Then, it was onto an awaiting Ethan for their traditional nuptials.

The church itself was decorated with periwinkle blue ribbon and white hydrangea that mirrored the bridesmaids’ attire and bouqiets. With beautiful stained glass and crushed red velvet in the background, the couple was married.

The Harbour Club’s décor matched that of the bridal party with plenty of white in the table’s rose centerpieces. Unique details such as Lego figurines atop the cake are personal touches that reflect Emily and Ethan’s fun personalities. The reception also featured a simple Southern theme with warm wooden chairs to go along with the exposed brick on the walls. After a beautiful dinner and a classy first dance, the party started and glow sticks were passed around for all. The couple was elated for the chance to spend time with their friends, some of whom had traveled halfway around the world to be involved in this wonderful day.
