Emily { Charleston Senior Portraits }

Earlier this spring, Shannon had the privilege of capturing some simply stunning Charleston senior portraits and we’re so excited to share some with you right now! Wanting to make the most of her visit to Charleston, high school senior Emily decided that our lovely city and its endless beauty would make a perfect backdrop for her senior photos. Shannon led her around downtown and used some unique facades to accent the backgrounds. We love some of the playfulness that showed through as Emily leaned against the beautiful grey wall and the bricked-in archway. Along with the streets and sidewalks of Charleston, Hampton Park served as another timeless setting for photos. It lent its lush gardens and manicured paths to the portraits. Emily was absolutely beautiful in the gardens amidst the flowers and sprawling trees as the sun began to set on the early spring day.

Emily’s wardrobe choices for her portraits were perfect and matched her surroundings beautifully. Her first outfit, a baby blue dress with long lace sleeves complimented by nude-colored high heels, was stylish and popped against the greys and off-whites of Charleston’s buildings. After trekking to Hampton Park, Emily wowed in a print dress, peek-toe heeled boots. The outfit was a whimsical contrast to the hanging Spanish moss and crepe myrtles. We absolutely adore the portraits of her relaxing in the flowers. Her smile brightens everything!

Senior photos are a great opportunity for unique portraits that reflect one’s individuality, personality, and fashionable style. Everything is customizable from locations to attire and the end result creates a series of photos that perfectly reflect the soon-to-be graduate.
