Cory & Kyle { Boone Hall Plantation Wedding }

Bridgit had the privilege of heading to Mount Pleasant for a gorgeous Boone Hall Plantation wedding, and we’re excited to bring you our favorites today! The scenic vistas and deeply Southern atmosphere of Boone Hall attracts couples from across the country and we’re always excited to see how each couple makes this gorgeous venue their own. Cory and Kyle have had a long relationship full of twists and turns and were so excited to finally tie the knot. As an outdoorsy couple, a Cotton Dock ceremony was a dream come true for them and their wedding was so lovely. The Cotton Dock was elegantly decorated and the spectacular waterfront background offered the perfect romantic view. With Horlbeck Creek lazily trickling on behind them, Cory and Kyle were all smiles as they exchanged their vows and began the next chapter of their lives with a kiss.

The grounds of Boone Hall features beautiful live oaks and gardens which are perfect for newlywed portraits. Cory and Kyle spent some time with Bridgit near a beautiful oak tree by the water’s edge. We love Cory’s dress, a linen and lace beauty with straps and flowing skirt. It looked perfect amidst its surroundings. Kyle was very handsome in a blue-grey three piece suit, a gentleman holding on to his lady. The newlyweds were joined by their wedding party for some fun portraits before the reception festivities commenced.

The interior of the Cotton Dock was transformed with draped gossamer curtains and cafe lights. With fresh camellias and roses as the centerpieces of the linen-covered tables, the entire effect was quite gorgeous. Hurricane lanterns provided soft pockets of golden light around the exposed brick, adding another beautiful element to the space. As guests enjoyed a savory station dinner from Hamby Catering and delectable sweets from Elizabeth Hanckel Cakes, Cory and Kyle spent a bit more time with Bridgit in the sun’s fading light. The gold and pink made them both glow and we love the portraits of them at water’s edge.
