Christine & Mike met while working as web developers at a studio in Charleston and, as Christine puts it, “the rest is history.” They wanted an eclectic, modern wedding that fit their creative and down-to-earth personalities. The two were married at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and celebrated their reception at the Historic Rice Mill Building. Christine & Mike liked the Rice Mill for its rustic industrial feel and we couldn’t agree more. They wanted their family and close friends “to be able to mingle together and interact throughout the party, enjoying themselves in a natural environment.” We think that the exposed brick walls and low ceilings of the Rice Mill make for a cozy and welcoming setting.
Christine chose a simple muted color palette of warm cream with accents of pinks and blues. We love how the soft details mix with the building’s rustic appearance. This simple, chic wedding leaves nothing to be desired and made for a beautiful, fun, and relaxed day for all.
Congratulations to Christine & Mike! Thank you, Caroline, for the gorgeous photos!
