Christina & Ryan { Folly Beach Wedding }

We have a magical Folly Beach wedding that Haley had the pleasure of capturing to share with you today!  Folly Beach, also known as The Edge of America, is a small beach town known for its festive atmosphere.  Christina and Ryan rented a beach house on Folly for the week to enjoy with family and friends.  This is a perfect way to get in more quality time with loved ones leading up to the wedding festivities.  The vision for their wedding was an intimate beach ceremony followed by a relaxed southern dinner shared with by close friends and family.  The couple met at MUSC, Christina was a nursing student and Ryan was a technician.  A text message turned into a six hour phone conversation, and the rest is history!

Christina looked absolutely stunning in her ivory and lace trumpet gown from Bridals by Lori.  Her hair is beach perfection with soft curls, and we are just obsessed with her gold leaf headpiece.  Ryan looked pretty dapper himself in a cobalt blue suit.  Be sure to check out his unique fishing tackle boutonnière!

These lovebirds exchanged vows in an intimate beach ceremony, and we love how emotional Ryan became when seeing his bride for the first time!  After their first kiss as husband and wife under a beautiful wedding arch, Haley captured some fun bridal party photos in the sand.  Haley was sure to steal the newlyweds for some romantic sunset portraits with that perfect dreamy golden light!

Steps away from the ceremony, their beach rental was decorated to perfection in accents of golds and creams.  Tables were set with crisp white linens, and their centerpieces were beach chic with hurricane lanterns filled with sand and shells, gold votives, candlesticks, and bright fresh florals.  We are obsessed with the vintage dinnerware, especially the teacups, which add to the romantic boho beach atmosphere.
