Caitlin & Andrei { Carolina Girl Yacht Wedding }

We always enjoy timeless weddings at the eclectic venues Charleston has to offer and this Carolina Girl Yacht wedding made for an unforgettable evening!  As a coastal city, Charleston’s waterfront views and scenery are second to none, and the Carolina Girl lets couples choose their perfect backdrop for their ceremony and on-board reception.  The gorgeous colors of Charleston’s spring complimented Caitlin and Andrei’s palette of blush pink and grey beautifully.  Caitlin was stunning in her flowing cotton dress and silver and white beaded sandals.  Andrei was quite handsome himself in his silver-blue three piece, waiting patiently for Caitlin’s arrival.

The intimacy of ceremonies aboard the Carolina Girl can’t be understated.  Closest family and friends gathered around for one of life’s defining moments – there are few things finer than exchanging vows with the love of your life.  Caitlin and Andrei’s ceremony was short and sweet, beginning with a flower girl that was so adorable and ending with a quick kiss by the newlyweds.  Afterwards, the couple joined their family and wedding party for some portraits in the late afternoon light.  The ladies were beautiful in their soft pink dresses and the gentlemen quite handsome in grey suits.  The duos newlywed portraits were perfect, sharing romantic moments with an idyllic marsh stretching into the sunset.

The Carolina Girl has a built in reception area with wood grain accents and an open air dancing deck.  The inviting space is ideal for intimate receptions or festive parties alike.  For Caitlin and Andrei, it was a bit of both with a beautiful dinner and then a cranked-up, laugh-filled bash.  Everyone dance, drank, and feasted long into the night with the moonlit waters of Charleston’s secluded spots glittering around them.
