Noni had the unique opportunity to photograph a Carolina Girl wedding, which is a perfect idea for water lovers! The day started at Zero George, a gorgeous hotel space in Charleston’s French Quarter, that features period architecture and a rustic interior perfect for classy, intimate or romantic events. The Carolina Girl Yacht is whimsically contemporary, allowing the couple to choose the perfect spot for their nuptials to create a one-of-a-kind wedding. Our lovely couple chose a destination wedding in Charleston for its beautiful views and southern charm. Noni caught up with the bridal party just in time to capture Analisa’s jaw dropping dress with silver beading complimented by ornate Badgley Mischka heels and a white rose bouquet. Nearby, Thomas was the epitome of class looking incredibly sharp in his light sand suit.
The couple chose to have a first look and their fun personalities immediately shined through, dancing on the front porch of the hotel. Noni took the duo around to some other locations in the French Quarter, including a secluded courtyard where Analisa looked simply angelic among the greenery. We love the happiness they exuded walking down the street or leaning up against a historic wall. A couple willing to get up to anything always gives the absolute best portraits. After a few more portraits in another garden space and some romantic moments in a secluded lane, it was time to board the Carolina Girl for the ceremony!
Strung blue lights softly illuminated a white curtain adorned with white roses, the perfect backdrop for a serene, intimate ceremony. After exchanging vows and finishing off with a heck of a kiss, it was time to party! The Carolina Girl was transformed with navy blue and white, complimented by ocean-themed details such as paddles and a “sand” covered cake! Wooden beach chair cake toppers? Yes, please! While their guests enjoyed catering from Cru, Analisa and Thomas took the opportunity to drink in the moment and have some fun – Analisa looked so cute and utterly nonplussed about her captain’s hat. But, their final portrait in the gorgeous pinks and oranges of the setting sun was dazzling, the perfect end to the perfect day.
Thank you both for inviting us along for your wedding day and we wish you nothing but the best as you make your next big moves as husband and wife! Congratulations again!
