Amber & Nathan { Hilton Head Wedding }

Jeanne had the opportunity to photograph an intimate Hilton Head wedding with Amber and Nathan. For an adventurous couple that likes to explore new places, a beach wedding was absolutely perfect. They simply wanted their closest friends and family to join them and feel the sand between their toes. The day began with Amber getting ready at a nearby beach house. Amber was lovely in her strapless fitted gown accented by an embellished belt on the bodice. We especially like her  style choice to opt for barefoot sandals, which are a great accessory for a beach soiree. Amber’s bridal style was completed with a vibrant bouquet of coral florals that included roses and accented with white orchids.

Wanting an intimate and personal occasion, the ceremony itself was held at a simple yet elegant arbor on the beach. Guests were invited to ditch their shoes and mingle before the bride made her appearance, walking a sandy aisle dotted with delicate coral and white petals. With the ocean waves behind them and the couple’s adorable miniature Schnauzer, Emmy Lou, looking on, Amber and Nathan said their “I dos.” After a kiss, the newlyweds led the way to the ocean so everyone could cast a seashell into the Atlantic.

Jeanne pulled the couple away for some more portraits of just them. Amber was radiant and Nathan couldn’t help but gaze at his wife. On a tiny wooden bridge over a sand dune with the beach behind her, the bride looked beautiful and serene. After stopping for a moment to play with Emmy Lou, Amber joined Nathan for a walk along the brush before heading to the celebration.
