Riverland Studios is currently seeking to fill a part-time position (20hrs/wk) assisting the studio manager and lead photographers in production, post-production, research, marketing, and new project development in a fast-paced wedding and portrait photography studio.

Pay band: $8-10/hr
Office hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Mon – Fri

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply digital editing techniques in post-production
• Deliver digital media, prints, photography albums, and other products to customers
• Assist in photo and video shoot pre-production
• Produce PR and social media marketing material
• Create presentations, documents, and spreadsheets for new project development
• Assist in development and prototyping of marketing & business strategies
• Maintain organized office and photography studio
• Maintain client management database

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom 4, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Understand and use DSLR cameras
• Social media publication (Twitter, Facebook, WordPress, Pinterest)
• Strong research skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Personal interest learning and understanding studio photography, wedding photography, portrait photography and the wedding industry
• Team player, flexible, self-starter
• Ability to multitask
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to interpret directions and perform independently under minimal supervision
