Tanja & Tommy { Magnolia Plantation Elopement }

We have a sweet Magnolia Plantation elopement we are excited to share with you today!  In late January during peak camellia season, Emily ventured to Magnolia Plantation to spend a few hours with Tanja and Tommy as they exchanged vows in an intimate setting.  Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is a dream venue whether you are seeking a large extravagant affair or a smaller more intimate ceremony.  The grounds are lush with sweeping oak trees, flowers in bloom year round, bamboo forests and iconic bridges all of which are perfect for romantic southern portraits.

Tanja looked simply ethereal in her long white gown with a lace neckline, her short locks whimsically curled and finished with pretty silver headband.  Her white and peach bridal bouquet was a perfect accent.  Tommy looked casual yet polished in his dark denim jeans, gray vest and sleek black tie.  Tonja and Tommy exchanged their “I Do’s ” in a sweet and simple ceremony with the white bridge peaking in the background.

After their ceremony, Emily was able to whisk the couple away and spend some time exploring the grounds capturing some lovely portraits.  We love the playful smiles the newlyweds share on the white bridge,  followed by some sweet kisses while embracing,  surrounded by the iconic oak trees.  A trip to the bamboo forest rounded out the day, and we are just in love with those dreamy photos!  The sunlight streaming through the bamboo creates for a magical glow, and we couldn’t be happier for Tanja and Tommy.

Congratulations to the newlyweds.  We just want to thank Tanja and Tommy for allowing us to capture their special day, and we wish you a long lifetime of health and happiness!
