ReAnne & Tyler { Boone Hall Plantation Wedding }

As they grow up, some girls envision the perfect fairytale wedding complete with the romantic setting, princess ball gown wedding dress and of course, her prince charming awaiting her arrival. A recent Boone Hall Plantation wedding confirmed that fairytales can come true and this one takes place on the edge of Horlbeck Creek at the Cotton Dock.  ReAnne and Tyler’s wedding was magical, which was befitting since magic had defined their relationship from the start.  They met during orientation at Disney World and, though it wasn’t love at first sight, destiny would not be denied.  ReAnne envisioned pixie dust strewn across her perfect wedding day and, from the dress to the dance, the day played out of a storybook.

Boone Hall’s reputation as a gorgeous venue with a rich history and so many beautiful places already casts a little bit of whimsical romance and mystery over the weddings that take place there.  ReAnne and Tyler’s first look was held at the picturesque Cotton Dock and his reaction was touching, the elation at seeing his bride for the first time permeates the atmosphere.  Her ball gown with lace trim was absolutely stunning.  She’d worn it for us before during her stunning bridal portraits in the spring but, on the wedding day, she was even more breathtaking.  Tyler was handsome in his suit, and we love the patterned green bowtie that added a touch of whimsy to match her Tinkerbell inspired bouquet.  Beneath the Spanish moss, they held onto one another and just smiled.

With the marshes of Mount Pleasant stretching behind them, ReAnne and Tyler exchanged vows on the Cotton Dock.  Strung with lights and wispy curtains, the Dock was perfectly transformed for the magical ceremony.  Each bridesmaid carried a different color bouquet representing different fairies and we love the little flower girl dancing to her own beat while the ceremony commenced.  Then the “I Do”s were said, and Tyler and ReAnne became husband and wife, the fairytale ending they’d set off for years prior.

Inside the Cotton Dock, the rustic wood was lined with cafe lights, casting a romantic golden hue across the room.  The magical forest atmosphere was incredible, with the entire space looking like a private section of Wonderland just for them.  ReAnne’s vision of a Disney wedding was phenomenal and to see the details unfold was a real treat.  The Cheshire Cat stood guard with his toothy grin, staring out over the guests dining on delightful delicacies from Duvall Catering.  And then the newlyweds danced their first dance to “1000 Years” by KT Tunstall, twirling beneath a canopy of lights in the middle of their magical forest.  Their vows said, their lives intertwined and their futures aligned, ReAnne and Tyler held to one another, simply blessed to have found forever.

Thank you for choosing us to take part in your absolutely gorgeous day.  It was, in one word, magical.  Congratulations again!
